It’s the question Coach Doc Rivers was forced to ask himself after the Clippers, besieged by Donald Sterling’s nonsense and a Game 5 collapse, left the playoffs two years ago.
It’s the question he was forced to ask after a 3-1 lead over the Houston Rockets proved to be not enough last season.
And, after the Clippers came up just short to the Portland Trail Blazers on Friday night, losing 106-103 and ending their season way earlier than they envisioned, he better ask it again.
What now?
It’s got to be what Rivers will be thinking.
