The Clippers broadcast deal with Fox Sports expired at the end of the season. However, those negotiations have stalled as of last week.
It should come as no surprise that the Clippers are considering OTT (over-the-top) streaming options as well as a new broadcast partner.
For those unfamiliar with OTT, think about any streaming video app that you can download on your smart TV, connected device, phone or tablet. Now imagine, having a Clippers video app alongside your ESPN Watch, Hulu or Netflix apps.
Earlier this year, the Clippers turned down a reported deal that would have paid them $60 million a season, when their current deal with Fox Sports pays them $25 million a year.
