SAN ANTONIO - Los Angeles Clippers coach Doc Rivers on Sunday was asked to describe his team’s frame of mind prior to Game 4 of their Western Conference series against the San Antonio Spurs.
Under the circumstances - the Clippers lost by 27 points in Game 3 on Friday - it was a fair question.
“I don’t know, pretty good, I guess,” Rivers said. “I haven’t really seen them much this morning. But I think that we’re fine.”
They looked fine in the first half, after which they held a four-point lead. They ended up fine when they came away with a 114-105 victory over the Spurs at AT&T Center.
