Without naming the Spanoses, the SoccerCity folks have kicked them around pretty good for awhile. They put more leg into it this past Sunday, in a commentary that appeared in the Union-Tribune newspaper and online.

- “The SoccerCity ownership group is taking the opposite approach from past team owners here, who saw only what they could get from San Diego — not what they could give back.
