Much like the legions of Americans who kept a lid on their intention to vote for Donald Trump, large numbers of San Diegans are masking their intent to stay true to the team formerly known as the San Diego Chargers.
So says former Chargers center Nick Hardwick, who wore the lightning bolt for his entire 11-year NFL career and stills live in SD proper.
“They are afraid to vocalize how they feel,” Hardwick said this week of San Diegans who’ve tucked Los Angeles Chargers* fan cards somewhere on their persons.
