Cole Mazza is a native of Bakersfield, California where he attended Liberty High School. As a prep, Mazza played mainly center during his career but he had immense talent as a long snapper. It was this knack for snapping that led him to being one of the top snappers in the country, garnering a three-star rating as a prospect and being selected as the #1 LS in the country by 247Sports.
After graduating, Mazza chose to attend Alabama over west coast schools like UCLA or Washington State.
Mazza went on to start every single game as a member of the Crimson Tide.
