LA Angels owner Arte Moreno put all the rumors of the Angels leaving Anaheim to rest last week when it was announced that he bought the parking lot area around the stadium, and the stadium itself. So what are Moreno’s options to do with his new acquisition.
The area around Angel Stadium has had a major facelift in the past 15 years and more could be coming soon. First of all, the area on Orangewood Avenue right next to the parking lot has now been turned into luxury apartments/town homes. The entrance into the parking lot off of Katella is also much different with apartments and restaurants being built there as well as the Grove Theater.
