The Los Angeles Angels roster underwent quite a shake up Sunday. First, the team demoted starter Matt Shoemaker to Triple-A Salt Lake City, most likely paving the way for Nick Tropeano to join the rotation for the rest of the season. However, the Los Angeles Angels did not stop there as pitcher Cory Rasmus and shortstop Taylor Featherston were both placed on the disabled list. Rasmus has a strained right forearm, and Featherston has a upper back strain which landed the pair on the 15-day disabled list. Both will most likely be back after the rosters expand in September.
