Halos end skid as J-Up seals walk-off win vs. O's

ANAHEIM -- Justin Upton was mired in a 5-for-45 slump with 16 strikeouts through his last 12 games. That no longer matters. With a bases-loaded single in the ninth inning, Upton exorcised his hitting demons for his 11th career walk-off hit -- his first with the Angels -- to give the Halos a 3-2 win over the Orioles, snapping their four-game losing streak in the process.

Nick Tropeano, pitching in place of Shohei Ohtani -- whose mild left ankle sprain precluded him from taking the mound on Tuesday as previously scheduled -- allowed just one hit over 6 1/3 innings in his best start of the season.
