Halo effect: Vlad will rep Angels on Hall plaque

Vladimir Guerrero, one of four players elected to the Hall of Fame as part of the Class of 2018 on Wednesday, announced at Thursday's Hall of Fame Inductee news conference that he will don an Angels cap on his Cooperstown, N.Y., plaque.

Guerrero -- elected with Chipper Jones, Jim Thome and Trevor Hoffman -- batted .319/.381/.546 in his six years with the Angels and won the American League Most Valuable Player Award in 2004, his first year with the Halos.

Guerrero spent eight years with his first franchise, the Montreal Expos, and spent one year apiece with the Rangers and Orioles.
