ANAHEIM – Ricky Nolasco finished his season on a high note.
Nolasco pitched eight innings without allowing an earned run in the Angels’ 8-1 victory over the Oakland A’s on Tuesday night, their sixth victory in the last seven games.
In his last six starts, Nolasco posted a 1.47 ERA, including no earned runs in his last 21 innings.
Nolasco, who the Angels acquired from the Minnesota Twins in a deadline trade, posted a 3.21 ERA in 11 starts with the Angels. He pitched at least five innings in every start and at least six in 10 of them.
