In the Angels' lineup is a standard lefty-facing group, too, as Daniel Robertson starts in left field and C.J. Cron serves as the designated hitter against Rangers left-hander Wandy Rodriguez.
Santiago is pitching, we can say, for a chance to make the All-Star team. If he closes out the first half with two more starts like he's been pitching, he seems to have a good case.
