Four weeks into the second Bill Stoneman Era, the Angels have already vaulted from five games back to one game up in the American League West. They have won 18 of their last 24 games, but the roster is far from perfect.
With just a week to go before the trading deadline, Stoneman, the Angels’ interim general manager since Jerry Dipoto’s surprise resignation, has some work to do if the club is to shore up its roster to hold off the Houston Astros for the final two months of the season.
