Angels Pen Holds Lid as Offense Ignites Late

4.1 scoreless innings by five relievers in 4-1 victory over Texas

The Angels saw good C.J. Wilson for five innings and when the going got tough and the bases got loaded, Vinnie Pestano was a sight for sore eyes.  Pestano got Robinson Chirinos to ground out with the bases loaded to end the top of the sixth inning and snuff the only real Rangers threat all night.

It was the only batter Pestano would face but it preserved a one-run deficit and the Halo bats took over from there.

Albert Pujols tied the game with a bases-loaded single to score Grant Green.
