‘With his attitude, everything will be good in the end': Jurgen Klopp praises Danny Ings as he prepares to make first Anfield appearance for 13 months

Danny Ings will clear the final hurdle on his journey back from a long-term injury when he makes his first appearance at Anfield for 13 months.

The Liverpool striker has not started a game for his club since October 4, 2015. He ruptured his anterior cruciate ligament in his second training session with Jurgen Klopp, shortly after he made his England debut in Lithuania, and has been working his way back to fitness since.

Ings has made a big impression on Klopp in the way he has handled the prolonged absence but that patience will be rewarded in the EFL Cup fourth round tie against Tottenham, with 23-year-old set to be given some playing time; his manager is even considering starting him.
