Virgil van Dijk should choose a move to Chelsea over Liverpool if he has the chance, talkSPORT have been told.
The Dutch centre-back has been left out of the Saints’ squad for their pre-season training camp in France, after boss Mauricio Pellegrino said last week the 26-year-old was training alone because he was ‘not 100%’ in the right frame of mind.
Liverpool have been keen on recruiting the 26-year-old this summer, and he is believed to want the move, while Chelsea are also said to be interested.
