Turkish giants Besiktas have joined Liverpool and Chelsea in the race to sign Brazilian wonderkid Thiago Maia.
A star of the Rio Olympics, Maia is attracting plenty of interest from around Europe, with talkSPORT revealed earlier this month that both Liverpool and Chelsea are in pursuit of the 20-year-old.
However, Turkish outlet Fotospor have now claimed that Besiktas are willing to pay over the odds to land the highly-rated youngster.
The source also claims that Napoli and Schalke are both keeping close tabs on the Santos defensive midfielder and could also break the bank in order to force through a deal, while Lille have also been linked.
