Both the U18s and U23s consistently made use of Clarkson's pinpoint deliveries into dangerous areas throughout the course of the 2019-20 season.
They are skills the midfielder has possessed from an early age, though honed with the help of Steven Gerrard during his time within the Kirkby set-up.
"I was 16 and he was the U18s coach. I remember Gerrard was doing almost like a one-to-one session after the training session with Adam Lewis," Clarkson tells Liverpoolfc.
