Technology is beginning to worm its way more and more into football - goal line technology, video assistant referees, matches beamed all over the world - but the old fashioned press conference has been left largely untouched.
That was the case until Friday, when Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp revealed his side will be playing in the pre-season Audi Cup - via hologram.
Using the technology, he was available to appear alongside the real life version of Bayern Munich boss Carlo Ancelotti and a virtual replica of Atletico Madrid coach Diego Simeone, whose teams will also be participating.
