Danny Ings is impressing for Liverpool's U23s once again.

The 24-year-old has played just twice for the first time since suffering an anterior cruciate ligament injury in October 2015.

He had started well for the Reds since joining from Burnley that summer and it certainly slowed his progress on Merseyside.

But this goal against Sunderland for the U23s shows he knows exactly where the goal is with a deadly double.

Ings opened the scoring before making it 2-0 at Prenton Park with a stunning looping header. The Reds went on to add a further goal, with the other coming from Trent Alexander-Arnold.
