As part of its Premier League Primary Stars programme, LFC Foundation will run a pop-up bookshop, alongside the National Literacy Trust, ahead of the Reds’ game against Burnley on Sunday.
Children’s books, provided by WHSmith, will be on offer for just £1 at the stall, which will be located in the Family Zone at Anfield before kick-off.
Five hundred local pupils will also head to Anfield later this month for LFC’s Author Day, hosted by Red Neighbours and LFC Foundation alongside renowned children’s author Ben Lyttleton and illustrator Spike Gerrell - creators of the Football School book series.
