Jamie Carragher and Danny Simpson's Twitter jousting reignited on Monday with the Leicester City full back posing with his Premier League winners' medal in a bid to get one over on the Liverpool defensive legend.
The animosity between the pair began in March, with Simpson calling out Carragher for wearing Liverpool rivals Everton's training kit during an interview with Romelu Lukaku, before an exchange of tweets ensued over the coming months.
On Sunday, Sportsmail's Carragher posted a photograph of himself with a large snake around his neck to Twitter, captioned: 'Finally get my hands on @dannysimpson.'
Just six hours later, however, Simpson hit back by uploading a snap of himself looking pensive while sitting on his sofa, donning the 2015-2016 Premier League winners' medal he won with the Foxes last season.
