Leicester City are in talks with Schalke to sign their midfielder Amine Harit on loan.
The 25-year-old, who was born in France but plays international football for Morocco, spent last season on loan at Marseille.
While at the French club, he scored four goals and made five assists, across 23 league appearances.
He is likely to leave Schalke because the Bundesliga side are keen to offload players for financial reasons - although the Foxes are only investigating a loan deal at present.
Harit has not featured so far this season for Schalke.
