Leicester City starlet Demarai Gray is determined to seize his opportunity while Riyad Mahrez is away at the Africa Cup of Nations.
Mahrez has headed to the January tournament along with his Foxes team-mate Islam Slimani to represent Algeria.
It means that there is now a spot in Claudio Ranieri's side out wide and 20-year-old Gray is determined to fill it.
"With Riyad not with the squad, that hopefully provides an opportunity for me to impress," Gray told Leicester's match day programme.
"But that will only come if I train hard and remain consistent, as I think that I have been doing alright lately.
