Leicester City FC news: Claudio Ranieri insists he has no plans to retire despite hitting 65th birthday

Claudio Ranieri has no plans to quit the managerial game despite reaching retirement age on Thursday, as he feels he can ‘continue for a long time’.

The Italian, now 65, has seen his career reinvigorated since his surprise appointment by Leicester in July 2015, winning the Premier League title and qualifying for the Champions League for the first time in the club's history.

The Foxes’ league form has not been as impressive this term, with just two wins from eight games, but that means little to Ranieri - who was recently rewarded with a new contract until 2020.
