Leicester boss Claudio Ranieri calls on Islam Slimani to turn up the heat even more after his heroics against Porto

Leicester City manager Claudio Ranieri hailed match-winner Islam Slimani but challenged his 'dragon slayer' to turn up the heat even more as he adapts to life in English football.

A 25th minute header by summer signing Slimani was enough for Leicester to secure a 1-0 victory at home to Porto and seal a second consecutive Champions League win for Ranieri's side.

Slimani became known as the 'dragon slayer' during his spell with former club Sporting Lisbon, where he struck six goals in six appearances against Porto. Once again on Tuesday evening, Porto's bogeyman scored a crucial goal and delivered a domineering forward display.
