Craig Shakespeare making plans for pre-season at Leicester as interim boss set to land the job permanently

Craig Shakespeare has given the clearest indication yet he is in on course to become Leicester City’s permanent manager by revealing pre-season plans are under his command.

Leicester will return to Austria this summer at Shakespeare’s guidance while a place in the Premier League Asia Trophy in the Far East is assured so long as the club confirm their top-flight status.

Shakespeare has also been engaged in recruitment and insists Leicester are in a strong position to keep hold of any star players who may wish move on with European football no longer on the table.
