Willie Brown looked at how the Vikings lined up, and then the Raiders’ cornerback walked over to safety Jack Tatum.
“ ‘Jack, cover my back because I am going to jump this,’” Brown said. “I know what this play is going to be. He said, ‘OK, I got ya.’”
Then, seconds before the play, Brown jogged over to linebacker Ted Hendricks.
“‘Ted, you stay inside. Don’t worry about the outside because I am going to take it away,’” Brown said. “He said, ‘OK.’ And then I just sat on it.
