Crabtree, then with the San Francisco 49ers, could not haul in a potential game-winning touchdown pass from the 18-yard line that day against Sherman’s Seattle Seahawks. Or, a year earlier, from five yards out on three straight plays in Super Bowl XLVII against the Baltimore Ravens.
