While it was set in motion a few days ago, the Oakland Raiders made it official on Monday that they will be signing Brian Callahan to be their next quarterbacks coach. Head coach Jon Gruden did not hire a quarterbacks coach with the 13 other assistants a few weeks back. It’s Tuesday and this is the Black Hole Roll Call.
Callahan is the son of Washington Redskins offensive line coach and former Raiders head coach Bill Callahan. The younger Callahan had previously worked with the Detroit Lions as Matthew Stafford‘s quarterbacks coach.
