Northern California man pleads guilty to selling counterfeit 49ers, Raiders goods

SACRAMENTO — A Northern California man pleaded guilty Friday in federal court to selling counterfeit sports apparel, including gear with the logos of the San Francisco Giants and 49ers and Oakland Raiders, according to the Department of Justice.

Seyyed Ali Noori, 50, of Mountain House, pleaded guilty to two counts of trafficking in counterfeit goods, including items bearing counterfeit trademarks belonging to professional sports franchises in the National Football League, the National Basketball Association, Major League Baseball and the National Hockey League, according to federal prosecutors.

Noori admitted that he owned and operated Goldstar Wholesale LLC, a regional wholesale distributor based in Tracy, where he sold and stored inventory.
