Linebacker Bruce Irvin joined the Oakland Raiders because of defensive coordinator Ken Norton Jr. and edge Khalil Mack, now he hopes the scary combination competes in the AFC West.
Oakland Raiders defensive coordinator Ken Norton Jr. played a big part in Bruce Irvin’s recruitment to the Silver and Black, Irvin said.
“He’s a great guy, one of the main reasons that I decided to get here.” Irvin said. “He saved my career by bringing me from defensive end to a linebacker, so I have the utmost respect for that guy.
