Soccer school, am I right?
The Kentucky men’s soccer program moved up two spots to No. 6 nationally in the latest United Soccer Coaches rankings, which were released on Tuesday. The Wildcats are off to a 2-0-0 start in the 2022 season, with a 2-0 win over the University of Illinois Chicago and a 1-0 victory against Seattle. Kentucky’s next match is this Friday, Sept. 2 against Belmont before hosting in-state rival Louisville (receiving votes) on Tuesday, Sept. 6.
Kentucky men’s soccer is now part of the Sun Belt Conference after leaving Conference USA following the conclusion of last season.
