Tyler Thompson of KSR discovered recently that the University of Kentucky made a decision that will prevent sororities from attending Saturday’s home football game.
UK decided to make Saturday a mandatory training/recruiting day for sororities, which means they won’t be able to attend the football game.
As part of rush, sororities at UK are requiring pledges and members to attend philanthropy training on Saturday, meaning they will miss Kentucky’s opener. Disapponted to hear this, especially since fraternities are suspending activities that day so guys can go to the game.
If I were a member of a sorority at UK right now, I would be furious.
