Kentucky’s defensive coordinator Matt House was extremely busy yesterday when he was in Missouri where he offered Class of 2020 hybrid defensive end/outside linebacker Lanell Carr. The 6-foot-2, 200-pound talks about his reaction when he heard about being offered at Kentucky.
“I was really surprised when I heard Kentucky offered me. Coach House has been recruiting me as a hybrid defensive end/outside linebacker.”
Carr said he could see himself fit well as a Denzil Ware/Josh Allen type player.
“I definitely see myself fit in their 3-4 defensive schemes.”
Desmet HS (MO) sophomore standout said he has plans to camp at Kentucky this summer.
