Even though Sacha Killeya-Jones played basketball when he was younger, didn’t like it. Killeya-Jones played football up until his sophomore year until he realized he was too tall and skinny to be a quarterback.
“Every chance I had, I was going to the gym. I always really wanted to go to the NFL, but I was like, ‘If I can’t play football, then the next best thing is basketball.’ It’s really done a lot for me. They say working hard can take you places and basketball has taken me across the world,” Killeya-Jones.
After Killeya-Jones began taking his basketball career serious, he received an offer from Houston Baptist University, a D-I school in Texas.
