KANSAS CITY, Mo. - As the final buzzer sounded in Kentucky’s season-ending loss to Auburn, the parade of Wildcat players making their way across the court to console graduate student forward Reid Travis was long.
Travis will be going home to Minneapolis, but not in the way he had hoped.
Instead of making the trip this week with his teammates and Kentucky needing two wins for a national championship, Travis’ next trip to his hometown and site of the 2019 Final Four will be as a man finished with his college career.
