Kentucky guard pledge Reed Sheppard continues to thrive at all levels and events, this time leading the Midwest Basketball Club to a championship at the 2022 Bill Hensley Memorial Run N’ Slam.
Teaming up with Indiana commit Gabe Cupps and Cincinnati pledge Rayvon Griffith, the future Wildcat led his team to a 4-1 record and the 17U event title, the Mike Conley Platinum Championship.
Sheppard scored 15 points and hit the game-winning layup with 30 seconds to go against Indiana Elite 2023 in the event semifinal. He then put up 20 points in the title matchup against Full Package to earn the championship crown.
