LEXINGTON, Ky. — No wonder Kentucky coach John Calipari asked, 'how much work do I have to do?' at a press conference earlier this week.
The average age of the Kentucky starting lineup was 18.8 years old for the 103-61 exhibition win against Thomas More College at Rupp Arena on Friday night.
It was the first time the Wildcats went with an all-freshman starting lineup — Quade Green, Hamidou Diallo, Kevin Knox, PJ Washington and Nick Richards — since the 2014 national championship game.
Knox scored a game-high 27 points on 8-of-12 shooting. Washington added 15 points and 10 rebounds, Richards scored 14, Diallo had 12 and sophomore Wenyen Gabriel 11.
