Kentucky's senior reserves 'shouldn’t take second fiddle to any player'

COLUMBIA, Mo. – Kentucky coach John Calipari responded with a joke when asked for his take on starting guard Isaiah Briscoe fouling out in the Wildcats win at Georgia Saturday.

"'I'm glad you fouled out," Calipari said he told the sophomore. "Now we can try to win this thing.' I didn't say that."

It's easier to laugh after surviving for a hard-fought conference road victory, especially with Calipari's senior reserves stepping in to help turn less-than-ideal circumstances into a four-game winning streak.
