Big Blue Nation was still smarting when word came Monday of a new contract that will allow John Calipari to “finish his career” at Kentucky.
UCLA was interested. Calipari probably was never going to go to UCLA, but Kentucky moved quickly anyway.
And it should have.
Counter-arguments can be made about that given what happened in Kansas City on Sunday and in previous NCAA Tournament disappointments before it, but overall results win the debate.
