LEXINGTON, Ky. — Kenneth Horsey needed a walker to take steps just four months ago.

The 6-foot-3, 330-pound Kentucky freshman offensive lineman slowly walked the hospital halls for days after open-heart surgery in early April.

Slow-paced exercise provided the Sanford, Florida, native with a motivated perspective.

"I told myself no matter how hard the workout, no matter what I do, I always have to be thankful because time can be short," he said.
