Kentucky Football: Drew Barker Sees Improvement

The 2016 Kentucky football team could be the best of the Mark Stoops era. There’s a new man at quarterback, a motivated offensive line, dynamic playmakers, and a hungry defensive unit.

Though there are others facing pressure, the lion’s share of the burden rests squarely on the throwing arm of sophomore quarterback Drew Barker.

Barker played limited snaps during the 2015 season, but he showed flashes of brilliance. He’s a big-body quarterback who can create plays with his legs and move the ball downfield with his arm.

According to Jon Hale of The Courier-Journal, Barker believes that this is the best Kentucky has looked since his arrival.
