In a turn of events, the Kentucky Wildcats will have Ashtan Pierre on campus for the 2018 college football season.
On Tuesday, the school announced that Pierre has arrived on campus and will enroll in classes this fall. He will practice with the team but will not play as a redshirt.
Back during SEC Media Days, head coach Mark Stoops revealed that Pierre was facing grade issues that would likely keep him from qualifying academically for this season. It would seem the issue is resolved if the freshman linebacker will be able to practice this fall, which is great news.
