The NBA isn’t the only path of professional basketball where former Kentucky Wildcats are thriving.
Earlier this week, it was announced by the BIG3 that a pair of one-time ‘Cats, Jodie Meeks and Isaiah Briscoe, were tabbed as All-Stars for the league’s inaugural All-Star Game, which is scheduled for this Sunday, August 21 at 3:30 p.m. EST on CBS. Meeks played at UK from 2006-09 while Briscoe was with the ‘Cats from 2015-16.
Meeks will join Team DOC, which is coached by NBA legend Julius Irving. The roster consists of well-known hoopers such as Michael Beasley, DeShawn Stevenson, Gerald Green, and Mario Chalmers, among others.
