Williams, who knows a thing or twelve about the point guard position, sees something special in Hagans.
“I use a word called ‘moxie’ for him,” Williams said. “I think a lot of players who are given the position of point guard, don’t know what comes with that, or entails that. For Ashton, we’re watching in front of our eyes, a young man develop and evolve into a leader this team really needs. You can have a team of very talent players, but in order to win a championship, you need that next level mentality, that dog mentality. I think that’s what Ashton brings to the table.
