La Madeleine Country French Cafe’s first Kentucky location opens to the general public 7 a.m. Monday.
Located in The 90 on Hilltop Avenue, the restaurant features popular French cuisine in a casual cafe setting. Dishes include French-inspired sandwiches, soups and salads, as well as a bakery.
“Our cafes offer a unique, welcoming atmosphere and we warmly invite all students, faculty and staff to make our cafe their own,” La Madeleine President John Cahill said in a press release.
The space matches the atmosphere of other La Madeleine locations, including wood tile floors, “rustic” beams and hearth fireplaces.
