For about the last decade, Florida and Kentucky have been the two most successful basketball programs produced by the SEC. Both have competed for several NCAA Final Fours with elite players and coaches. No matter what, Kentucky always seemed to come out on top, even after losing to the Gators three times in one season (the 2014 year that included an incredible ride to the championship).
This year is a little different though, the Gators are under new management since Billy Donovan departed to coach the Oklahoma City Thunder and the Cats have been struggling recently. Both teams still have incredible standouts — Kentucky has Tyler Ulis and Florida has Dorian Finney-Smith.
