Bless Benny Snell’s heart, he hasn’t known a lot of heartbreak as a Kentucky football player yet. Snell had a chance to turn the game on its head in the third quarter and put the Cats within five, but after taking it all the way to the four yard line, he fumbled, his first turnover as a Wildcat. From there, Tennessee marched down the field and scored, pushing the lead to 19 and out of reach.
Of all of the players that came out to meet the media, Benny was by far the most emotional.
“I’ve just got all the seniors and coaches telling me I’ve got a lot of potential, so I’ve got to get past it,” Benny said of the fumble.
