Former Kentucky forward Alex Poythress and Basketball Club Zenit upset CSKA Moscow in Moscow to win the VTB United League championship on Sunday.
Poythress was a perfect 6-for-6 from the field in the decisive 81-75 win in game 7 of the championship series. He finished with 13 points and 3 rebounds.
Zenit was down 3-1 in the series but roared back with 3 consecutive wins to earn the title.
